“To love and respect a human is a form of virtue. To love and respect women is the highest one”
March 8th is celebrated worldwide as International Women’s Day. We see businesses and homes and men putting up stories and posts on social media on how important their leading lady is – it could be their mother, sister, daughter, or wife. We come across everyone speaking about how it’s important to make a woman feel safe and secure, how important it is to give her equal rights and opportunities, and how important she is in the well-being of society. But, do we really make her feel that important and safe?
Let me take you through two shocking and eye-opening real-life statistics
- As per WHO, 1 in 3 women experience sexual violence at least once in their lifetime
- According to National Family Health Survey, nearly, 30% of women in India have faced Domestic Violence
These numbers are just on paper! Can you even imagine how many such cases still go unnoticed?
One of the major reasons, according to me, is the lack of education in men (and women) about how important it is to respect and understand women. We often teach our daughters and girls in society how to sit, how to behave, how to be with a man, how to respect men, what to say, what not to say and so much more. But, do we really teach the same things to our sons and boys? Not really!
This women’s day, I am glad to introduce you to some men who are doing a phenomenal job in raising awareness about certain behaviors and patterns in men that they should understand and how they can bring about a positive change in their relationships with women (mostly their wives).
1. DANNY MOREL
Danny Morel is a business strategist and a life coach. While a lot of his videos are for everyone in general, there are certain videos where he strongly puts his idea about how relationships should be and how important it is for women to realize their self-worth and men to understand how they should treat their women.
2. MICHAEL GENAY
Michael Genay is spreading mental health awareness and well as helping people on their path to recovery from abuse, addiction, and the like. His raw and real short video clips on Instagram click instantly. While his videos are not directly targeted to men, a lot of men can really take a deep dive into his account, listen to his videos and learn a lot.

3. CHRIS GQ PERRY
His Instagram Bio states “I speak on uncomfortable topics”. Indeed, if you’re a man you’re surely going to get uncomfortable at every single thought he brings to the table. Why? Because it’s true. He is teaching just the right things about women, relationships, and everything that a woman wants and deserves.
4. BELLO FRASHER
He is a model and a relationship consultant. His Instagram is all about empowering young men to treat their women right. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it? His posts and videos are equally perfect.
5. XAVIER LLC
One of the most non-preachy and realistic accounts that talk about relationships between men and women. His videos are clear and simple and are totally worth sharing with one an all. What I like most about his videos is when you scroll down, you might get answers to a lot of your questions.
Dear men, it’s high time to be a real hero. When we see men taking a stand for women, educating people around the globe on how to maintain a dignified relationship with women, it’s like a ray of warm sunlight on a cold, dark day. The day this world learns to not just glorify women on women’s day, but respect, understand, and love them on all days will be the day worth celebrating.
Here’s to a future for women that’s safe and secure.
