Well, it always goes the clichéd way, doesn’t it – NEW YEAR and NEW RESOLUTIONS! I’m sure you’ve worked hard on your last days of 2015 to set picture perfect resolutions for the New Year. While it’s just a few days to 2016 and the resolutions seem to be working pretty well, let’s admit the truth: Past a few weeks of the new year, resolutions end up as a bummer.
Give your panic a rest, and read the fun tips I think that always help in being loyal to resolutions:
-
BUY A FANCY POCKET DIARY
Simple! Once you’ve bought a pretty diary, you’ll want to use it. Use it to write down our resolutions and goals. Keep a check by writing about your progress once in a while.

2. TEAM UP
I’m sure you’ll have at least one friend you like doing everything with. Sit down and decide your goals together and work on it – TOGETHER. As the saying goes, two is always better than one.

3. PLAN YOUR TREATS
Yes, indeed! If you are working hard, you ought to treat yourself. Plan rewards at various stages towards the achievement of your goals. This way you’ll achieve twice at one go! *wink*
4. GET CREATIVE
Things you’ll need:
- Mount Board/ Chart Paper
- Various Magazines
- Glue
- A Little Excitement towards getting your hands dirty

Once you’ve collected the stuff, all you need is to look out for pictures, articles, quotes etc. that relate to your goals and cut them and stick on your board. Place this board in front of your bed. This way, everytime you are in your room, you’ll get motivated towards achieving it.
5. DECIDE A REWARD
There is light at the end of the tunnel, almost always. Quite literally, plan a huge reward at the end of the year and present it to yourself once you accomplish the goal. I bet, the eagerness to earn that final reward will make you work a little harder.
Wishing you a year of good luck, health and success!
